Shannon, better known as Corny, is a 2nd generation fisherman based on Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. Corny learnt how to fish from his father and took over the Marine Scalefish Licence in 2000. Corny fishes from small trailer boats, targeting squid, whiting and snapper. His love for fishing is orientated around providing fresh fish locally and the freedom of living and working in the beautiful regional South Australia.
Corny is an executive Member of the MFA (Marine Fishers Association) and one of the two commercial fishing representatives on the Ministerial Advisory Committee (MAC).
