Mark Cranstone

Location: Botany Bay, Broken Bay, Hawkesbury River, New South Wales, Newcastle, Ocean Beach Haul Fishery, Pittwater, Terrigal

Mark first began working with Peter Offner during his work experience placement in Year 10.

He started his career in 2000 as a deckhand on a lobster and fish traps boat. In 2002, he became a fisher and got his coxwain.

In 2006 he bought shares in Peter and Sue Offner’s business becoming one of the business partners of Seacoast Fishing. The commercial fishing business has been operating for 15 years with a fleet of seven boats.

Mark is a recognised OceanWatch Master Fisherman, trained and experienced in responsible and sustainable fishing practices.
