Mariana Zacharias Marques Barbosa began professionally oyster farming in 2019. She grows both Sydney Rock Oysters and Pacific Oysters in Port Stephens. Mariana began oyster farming when she moved with her husband to a coastal region, with the aim to be closer to the marine environment. She loves eating oysters and the lifestyle associated with oyster farming.
