Giovanni Tripodi is 6th generation professional fisherman. He started fishing on his Dad’s boat in Italy. He arrived in Australia in 1981 and became a professional fishermen.

Giovanni lives in the Sydney area, and is based at the Sydney Fish Market in Pyrmont.

Giovanni is endorsed to fish in the New South Wales Ocean Fish Trawl Fishery. He is very proud to be a recognised OceanWatch Master Fisherman, responsibly harvesting sustainable local seafood for seafood consumers.
