Troy Martin is a second generation fisher working in the Marine Scalefish Fishery from his tri hull fishing boat “Tripod”. Troy followed in his fathers footsteps when he was 16 initially working as as a deckhand in 1986. He began working as a professionally endorsed fisher in 1990. Since 2017, Troy has been instrumental in ensuring responsible and sustainable fishing is continued by his son Rex. Troy is proud to supply the wider community who cannot access local seafood for themselves.
