Brent is a first generation fisherman, who started his career as a deckhand before becoming a professional fisherman in 2008. Brent fishes the New South Wales south coast on a 6.1m abalone vessel ‘Stiff ripples’, using hookah/air hose methods. Brent loves everything about the ocean especially working in such a pristine environment and being part of the fishery is very rewarding. He explains “the nature of our job is all time” and “there’s always something different, I really love it!”.
