Sam is a 2nd generation fisherman who became a professional fisherman in 2022. Sam started his career as a deckhand within the family business and currently fishes from a 17ft Seydel Craft and a 23ft Southern Formula vessel. Sam fishes within NSW waters, north of Sydney,  helping with line, hand-harvest and hookah methods. He is also doing a Marine Traineeship and has so far completed his General Purpose Hand and Coxswain training through the Fishing Industry Training Committee (FITC). Sam enjoys being immersed within the marine environment and wildlife, and loves that everyday is new whilst on the water. In his free time, he likes recreational diving.
